(Dec 6 – 11) Festival of the Nativity
The Festival of the Nativity is back for 2022! It has been sorely missed since 2019 and we hope all of you will help make this Christ-Centered event a Christmas priority. After years of successful sponsorship by the Bellevue South Stake, this is now an area event under the direction of Elder Nauman involving 11 stakes.
Additional information will be coming soon but here are a few quick highlights:
December 5th, 7 - 8:30 pm / VIP Event for religious, civic, and community leaders
December 6th - 11th 1 - 9 pm / Dates of the Festival
December 11th, 6 - 9 pm / Messiah Sing-Along
December 6th - 8th 5 - 8 pm / Special focus on youth groups / Please encourage your youth leaders to bring your youth to the festival as your weekly youth event

Festival of the Nativity—IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUESTED
The culminating performance for the Festival of the Nativity will be the Messiah Sing-Along. We are excited to bring back this beloved community event that has brought Christ to the center of our Christmas celebrations for many years. The Sing-Along will be performed at the Bellevue South Stake Center (behind the temple) on Sunday, Dec. 11th from 6 pm-9 pm.
Choir Rehearsals: Because of the difficulty of the music, rehearsals will begin THIS Sunday, October 9th at the Bellevue Stake Center (14536 Main St, Bellevue, WA 98007) and will be held EVERY Sunday evening from 4 - 5:30 pm until the performance on Dec 11th. Choir members ages 12+ and all abilities are welcome!! Please reach out to all Stake Music Coordinators in your Stake to get the word out as soon as possible. We encourage you to utilize all social media platforms that your stake might be using to get the word out and post this info on the platforms in the next day or two. If you know people who would be great additions to the program, please reach out to them personally. We are encouraging everyone to invite non-members to the choir as well. We can use as many angelic voices as possible and it's a great way to share the spirit with them. Solo Auditions: There are solos in the Messiah Sing-Along and we will hold auditions from 10am-noon, Saturday, October 22nd at the Bellevue Stake Center. You do not have to be a member of the Church to audition for solos! Community members are welcome to audition as well but should be told that we will not be paying the soloists.
